Finished in Rosso Red over a beautifully retrimmed Ferrari leather interior, this 1983 Ferrari 308 GTSi Quattrovalvole is believed to be the highest-mileage Ferrari 308 in the world. Rather than diminishing its appeal, those 260,000 miles tell an extraordinary story of continuous ownership, careful maintenance and a life spent exactly as Ferrari intended.
Much of its remarkable journey took place beneath the Californian sun, where over 240,000 miles were accumulated during decades of grand touring. Between 1989 and 2015 alone, more than $40,000 was invested in maintenance, preserving both the mechanical integrity and character of the car. Its unique history later attracted international attention, becoming the subject of a feature by The Late Brake Show, celebrating a Ferrari that simply refused to stop being driven.
Since arriving in the UK, the current owner has continued that philosophy with an exceptional restoration costing in excess of £55,000. Completed in April 2025, the work included a zero-mile engine rebuild, complete wiring overhaul, full suspension rebuild, fully refurbished alloy wheels with the correct tyres, and a complete Ferrari leather interior retrim complemented by an Alcantara dashboard.
